The University of Missouri-Columbia opened the A.L.Golf Course in 1959. It is an 18-hole golf course located at 1/3 mile west of Faurot Field on Stadium Boulevard. This golf course have a clubhouse that was built in 1997, a putting green and a driving range. This space is open to the public but is principal goal is to serve students, faculty, staff, and alumni of the University of Missouri. 29 000 rounds of golf are played at Gustin Golf Course each year. It also the first college golf course in the United States certified by Audubon International (an environmental association).
