This 18-hole course sits three miles from Clonmel in County Tipperary. It was founded in 1911 and, like lots of other courses in Ireland, was designed by Eddie Hackett. This Hackett creation is a lovely parkland course which is set in the wooded slopes of the Comeragh Mountains. It measures just under 6400 yards and the level of the test awaiting you is reflected by the par of 72.
Hackett has come up with a gem and the added bonus is that visitors are welcome here at the weekend as well as during the week. No matter when you go it will be excellent value for money and the club provides all the facilities you'd expect, including motorised buggies for hire.
